- <p> Cupid's arrow has finally made a direct hit on the Man of
- Steel. In this week's edition of the comic series, SUPERMAN--a.k.a. mild-mannered Clark Kent--proposes to LOIS LANE. But
- trouble looms. Superman felt free to marry since he'd lost his
- superstrength in a Kryptonite mishap, but it's been restored.
- Says the hero's editor: "Here's a man who stands for truth,
- justice and the American way, and he's kept this secret from
- her." And try explaining those clothes left in phone booths.
